Job summary

Brightwork Limited on the Isle of Islay seeks a Project Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary capital projects across Scottish distilleries, delivering from concept through handover while improving safety, reliability, sustainability and production capability.

You will coordinate internal teams and external contractors, manage budgets and schedules, develop scopes, prepare specifications and present plans for approval in a highly collaborative environment on Islay.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Architectural discipline or equivalent trades experience.
APM or PMP professional qualification; ability to obtain within first year if not certified.
Proven experience leading multi-discipline projects in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the execution of projects related to process engineering, energy, water and wastewater optimisation through a documented Phased Project Work Process.
Coordinate 3rd party engineers, contractors, construction schedules, and cost tracking to align with production schedules and budgets.
Develop project scopes, lead design reviews, and manage contractors and project teams from concept through handover.
