Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Project Engineer for an 18‑month fixed term contract on the Isle of Islay, Scotland. The role involves ownership of engineering and capital projects from concept to handover, working with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and EHS teams to deliver improvements in reliability, safety and efficiency.

You will collaborate with external contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders, providing technical input and maintaining project governance in a manufacturing

Qualifications

Experience delivering capital projects in manufacturing or process environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Ability to interpret drawings and manage budgets/timelines.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering and capital projects from concept through to completion and handover.
Develop project scopes, specifications, schedules and budgets.
Coordinate contractors, suppliers and third‑party partners.
Work with operations to deliver safely with minimal production disruption.
Manage costs, expenditure, forecasting and variations.
Support development of future capital projects.
Provide project documentation and progress updates.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality standards.
