Job summary

Aethos London Shoreditch is seeking a committed IRD Waiter to deliver outstanding food and beverage service to guests at our boutique hotel. You will represent the brand standards, assist guests with menu knowledge, and support a seamless dining experience in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates will have restaurant or in-room dining experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.

THE ROLE

As a IRD Waiter, you are responsible for ensuring the efficient service of food and beverage to all guests in the Hotel, ensuring Aethos standards and guest requirements are met at all times.

Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

• Provide exceptional quality service to guests in a quick and efficient manner in line with hotel and brand standards
• Be comfortable in your ability to multi-task, prioritise and remain calm under pressure
• To feel empowered to make decisions that will enhance the guest experience
• A good working knowledge of all food products – particularly the style and concept, as well as a good working knowledge of all beverage products. (Excellent training will be given!)

ABOUT YOU

• Ideally you would have previous restaurant and/or in-room dining experience with the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel, destination fine dining restaurant or cocktail lounge/bar
• Have an open and approachable manner and thrive on interacting with people
• Have great communication skills, a sense of humour and a welcoming smile
• An understanding of what it takes to provide outstanding levels of guest service
• An eye for detail
• Be immaculately presented
