Job summary

Get Set UK is seeking an IPS Employment Specialist to work with NHS clinical teams across Essex, helping people with serious mental illness move into competitive paid employment. You will build tailored job searches, complete vocational profiles and support applications and interviews.

You will travel daily across the Epping and Loughton area, engaging employers, managing a caseload and providing post-employment support to sustain work. Full training in IPS will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering one-to-one advice or guidance to adults.
• Evidence of building trust and motivation with clients.
• Experience managing a caseload and scheduling with records.
• Ability to engage employers and develop relationships.
• Proven ability to work toward clear outcomes and targets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case-management systems.
• Eligibility to travel across Essex with a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Work with NHS clinical teams to support job starts and sustainment.
• Complete vocational profiles and understand client goals.
• Support applications and interview preparation.
• Engage employers and identify opportunities, including new relationships.
• Travel daily across the Epping & Loughton area.
• Provide post-employment support to resolve difficulties.
• Maintain accurate records and manage caseload.
