Job summary

Get Set UK is recruiting an IPS Employment Specialist to support people with mental health needs into competitive paid employment. You will work with NHS clinical teams, complete vocational profiles and assist with job applications, interviews and workplace adjustments.

You will travel across Mid Essex, building employer relationships and sustaining employment outcomes while receiving full IPS training and fidelity guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience providing one-to-one advice, guidance or practical support to adults or young adults with evidence of helping people work towards clear outcomes.
• Evidence of building trust, motivating people and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
• Experience managing a caseload, appointments or competing priorities while maintaining accurate records and reliable follow-through.
• Confidence communicating with different people and professionals, including employers, and developing new relationships.
• Evidence of working towards outcomes, targets, tasks or agreed objectives and continuing when progress is difficult.
• Evidence of commitment, reliability and consistently delivering high standards of work.
• Ability to present recent employment history clearly, including gaps or short-term roles during the last five years.
• A valid driving licence and reliable access to a vehicle for work enabling regular travel across Mid Essex.
