Job summary

Get Set UK is seeking an IPS Employment Specialist to work with NHS clinical teams across Essex, helping people with serious mental illness find and sustain competitive paid employment. You will manage a caseload, travel daily to community and clinical settings, and build employer relationships to uncover opportunities.

Full training in IPS will be provided. This mobile role involves regular travel and is not home-based.

Qualifications

• Experience providing one-to-one advice and practical support to adults or young adults with evidence of helping people work toward outcomes.
• Experience managing a caseload, appointments or competing priorities with reliable follow-through.
• Confidence communicating with different people and professionals, including employers.
• Evidence of working toward outcomes, targets, or agreed objectives.
• Commitment, reliability and consistently delivering high standards of work.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital record/case-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with participants and clinical colleagues; turn preferences into active job searches.
• Develop employer relationships to uncover opportunities and create job starts.
• Keep accurate and timely records; contribute to sustained employment and IPS service quality.
• Travel daily between clinical, community and employer locations across Essex; manage your diary.
• Support participants and employers to resolve difficulties after job starts.
