Job summary

Standguide Group in Scunthorpe is seeking an Employment Specialist to support individuals with health-related needs to secure meaningful work. You will deliver IPS-based guidance, build relationships with clients and employers, and help them identify skills and goals.

The role is full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with a driving licence and access to a vehicle. Standguide offers generous leave, pension, health plan and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Overseas equivalent qualifications will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of up to 25 clients who have health support needs who are motivated to start/return to work.
• Deliver the IPS approach for which training will be given.
• Meet and support clients to understand their skills, aspirations and goals and produce an Action Plan to obtain and sustain employment.
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings with key partners as an embedded IPS practitioner.
• Source job opportunities through tailored job search and contact with local employers to explore opportunities.
• Provide education and support to employers, including adjustments and return-to-work strategies.
