Job summary

Standguide is recruiting an Employment Specialist to support people with mental health needs in finding and sustaining meaningful work across the UK. You will work with individuals using the IPS approach, focusing on their strengths and goals to place them in competitive employment.

No prior IPS experience is required as full training will be provided; what matters most is your ability to build trust, work well with people and employers, and help participants reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in IPS would be advantageous, but it isn’t essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients with mental health support needs.
• Deliver support in line with the eight IPS principles.
• Build supportive relationships with clients and employers.
• Help clients identify skills, interests and employment aspirations.
• Provide ongoing in-work support to clients and employers.
