Job summary

Standguide is recruiting an Employment Specialist in Lincoln to support people with mental health needs into meaningful, competitive work using the Individual Placement and Support approach. Full training will be provided; prior IPS experience isn’t required.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for travel across Lincolnshire. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hrs pw) with a starting salary of £31,049 per annum.

Qualifications

• IPS-based employment support experience not required (training provided).
• Ability to build trust and work with people and employers.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle required for Lincolnshire location.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients with mental health support needs who are motivated to start or return to work.
• Deliver support in line with the eight principles of the IPS model and Fidelity Scale standards.
• Identify suitable employment opportunities through tailored job searching and direct contact with local employers.
• Provide ongoing in-work support to clients and employers once employment has been secured.
• Maintain accurate records and provide clear evidence of client progress and outcomes.
