Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an IP Core Transport Specialist to configure, manage and troubleshoot multi-vendor networks (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, HPE, F5, Fortinet) and related firewall technologies in a lab and production context.

The role focuses on IP design, fault management, access control using Cisco ISE, Windows AD and Linux, plus hands-on integration of core networks with test environments. This is a 3 days/week office-based role in Newbury.

Qualifications

• Minimum CCNP or higher certification.
• Working experience in ISP/Telecom network.
• Excellent working knowledge on Cisco/Juniper/Nokia/HPE PEs devices to configure IP/MPLS, BGP, VRF, LDP, ISIS, OSPF, HSRP/VRRP, Static Routing, Gig/10G/100G interfaces, IPSec, AAA, ACL, QoS.
• Excellent working knowledge on F5 Load-balancer to configure VIP, SNAT, iRule, policies, interfaces, static routing.
• Excellent working knowledge on Cisco Nexus 9K, Catalyst 3K to configure VTP, STP, RSTP, Ethernet, BVI, DHCP.
• Experience on Infoblox DNS configuration
• Working knowledge on Windows AD and Linux Servers for user management, access control and service management.

• Configuration and fault management

• Analysing service request, change request and test environment requirements received from Lab users
• Building test environment, Integration of core network with another test network element.
• IP Allocation, IP Design and IP Communication Matrix Preparation
