Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an IP Core Transport Specialist to configure, manage and troubleshoot multi-vendor networks (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, HPE, F5, Fortinet). You will design IP networks, build labs, manage faults, and oversee access administration.

The role requires CCNP or higher and ISP/telecom experience. Office presence is three days per week in Newbury; Capgemini supports inclusive recruitment and digital learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum CCNP or higher certification.
• ISP/telecom network experience required.
• Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS, BGP, VRF, OSPF, IS-IS, LDP, HSRP/VRRP, static routing, and 10G+ interfaces.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus 9K/Catalyst, VTP, STP, and DHCP.
• Knowledge of Infoblox DNS and Windows AD/Linux user management.

Responsibilities

• Configuration and fault management of multi-vendor networks.
• User management using Cisco ISE, Windows AD, and Linux.
• Analyze service/change requests and prepare lab/test environments.
• Integrate core network with test networks and manage IP allocation/design.
