Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Principal Software Architect to drive innovation across cloud, desktop, firmware and mobile platforms. The role focuses on modernising legacy systems and delivering scalable IoT solutions within a complex engineering environment.

You will work with senior management to define technical direction, align technologies, and ensure scalable, maintainable evolution of systems. Hybrid role with three days in the Bristol area.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering background with leadership in architectural roles.
• Experience designing distributed systems across cloud and application layers.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams.
• Experience integrating hardware or embedded systems with cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• IoT or software/hardware environment experience.
