Job summary

Previsico, a leading flood forecasting company, is seeking an IoT Specialist in the United Kingdom to configure and monitor IoT devices, triage issues, and communicate service messages to customers. You will work under senior guidance to ensure effective deployment and maintenance of IoT technologies.

Based in the UK with hybrid working options, you will engage with data scientists and engineers to monitor datasets, run field tests, and support the ongoing managed service for customers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor IoT systems and assist in troubleshooting technical issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and engineers, to analyse IoT data with existing systems.
• Help support field tests and evaluations of IoT devices to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Support the implementation of data collection, transmission, and storage protocols.
• View processes with a critical eye and suggest potential improvements.
• Provide training and support to team members and clients on the use of IoT services and systems.
• Support preparation of technical documentation and reports under the guidance of senior team members.
