Job summary

Zopa is seeking a skilled iOS engineer to join the Mobile Platform team in London. You will help build the foundations of Zopa's native mobile experience, shipping polished production apps with Swift.

You'll collaborate with React Native and other mobile engineers, optimize performance, and partner with Product, Design and Backend teams to deliver high-quality releases that delight customers. This hybrid role combines hands-on development with strong engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of shipping production iOS apps in Swift.
• Strong understanding of iOS frameworks and native mobile development.
• Experience with high-engagement apps and fast, intuitive UX.
• Value maintainable code and robust engineering practices.
• Collaborative and motivated to build customer-focused products.

Responsibilities

• Join the Mobile Platform team and work with iOS engineers on foundational features.
• Collaborate with React Native and other mobile engineers to share best practices.
• Improve app speed, reliability, and user enjoyment by fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
• Build and evolve customer-facing features leveraging iOS native capabilities.
• Partner with Product, Design and Backend teams from ideation to release.
