Job summary

CCR (Carrier Commercial Refrigeration) in Abingdon is seeking a Teamleader for the Back Office and Invoicing function. You will lead the invoicing team, ensure complete, accurate and timely billing of services delivered, and reduce backlog.

You will oversee invoicing of service, maintenance, repair, materials and other billables, ensure contract and price list application, and coordinate with Operations, Finance and customers.

Qualifications

• Commercial qualification with several years of invoicing, order processing, billing or service administration.
• Leadership experience and strong knowledge of service contracts, pricing, VAT & internal controls.
• High accuracy, analytical skills, assertiveness and solution-oriented communication.
• Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and field service management apps; strong Excel & MS Office.
• Fluent English; cross-functional collaboration with dispatch, finance, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Back office and Invoicing team, manage workload distribution, backup coverage, and operational priorities.
• Oversee invoicing of service, maintenance, repair, materials and other billables.
• Ensure correct application of contracts, price lists, VAT and tax rules.
• Monitor backlog, processing times, and month-end / year-end closing.
• Coordinate feedback cases with Supervisors, Technicians, Dispatching and Finance.
• Analyze root causes of invoicing errors and drive fixes to improve first-time-right performance.
• Support system and process improvements, particularly at the interface between Field Service systems and SAP S/4HANA.
• Prepare reporting and escalations relating to invoicing performance, revenue realization, and working capital.
• Sets operational priorities, allocates clarification cases, and approves invoices per delegated authority.
• Escalate issues where documents are missing or obligations unclear.
