Job summary

Skipton Business Finance invites applications for a Client Service Adviser role. This permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week) offers a salary of £25,000 per annum and a hybrid working pattern.

You will support invoice finance clients with debt collections, cash allocation and ledger maintenance, while upholding strong risk controls and delivering excellent client service. Collaborating with Client Managers and Risk teams to protect security and support growth of client facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in invoice finance, credit control or similar client-facing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good numerical accuracy and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage debt collections and resolve payment queries.
• Accurately allocate cash receipts and maintain reconciled ledgers.
• Provide first-line support to clients and maintain high standard of service.
• Process invoices, credit notes, adjustments and facility transactions within controls.
• Monitor ledger performance and escalate risks where appropriate.
