Job summary

Marks Sattin is supporting a London-based charity, UK Leading Independent Funder, in appointing an Investment Operations Analyst. The role offers end-to-end exposure across investment oversight, reporting, and governance processes.

The role requires a minimum of one year in Investment Operations, Reporting or Accounting, with strong Excel and CRM skills. You will liaise with the Investment Adviser, Custodian, and finance teams to ensure accurate data analysis and board reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience across Investment Operations, Reporting or Accounting.
• Strong ICT skills across Excel and CRM systems.
• Experience in data collection and analysis, forecasting, and charting trends.

Responsibilities

• Work with Investment Operations Manager, Investment and Finance teams on investment oversight.
• Coordinate operational aspects of relationships with third parties, especially the Investment Adviser and Custodian.
• Prepare data analyses for investments such as performance reporting, cost analysis, board reporting.
• Assist with setting up new investments by coordinating legal and tax advice.
• Support the Audit process.
• Provide administrative support for the quarterly Investment Committee.

As this charity continues to back organisations and projects that aim to create a fairer, more sustainable society they are looking to add to their Investment Operations team! A broad position offering end to end Investment Operations exposure.

The Responsibilities

• To work with the Investment Operations Manager, the Investment and the Finance team, and other relevant colleagues on all matters relating to investment oversight


• Work across operational aspects of the relationship with third parties, in particular the Investment Adviser and Custodian


• Work with service providers to prepare required data analysis relating to investments such as performance reporting, cost analysis, board reporting etc


• Assist with setting up new investments through co-ordinating legal and tax advice


• Support with the Audit


• Administrative support for the quarterly Investment Committee

The Requirements

• Minimum 1 Year expeience across Investment Operations, Reporting or Accounting


• Strong ICT skills across Excel and CRM systems


• Experienced in data collection and analysis, forecasting, charting trends etc


• Exposure to Hedgefunds, Venture Capital or Custodians an advantage
