Job summary

Thames Valley Police in Maidenhead is seeking an Investigation Support Officer for a full-time FTC secondment until 19 May 2027. You will support crime investigations, gather evidence, and record witness statements to aid the investigation and prosecution teams.

The role involves evidence collection, house-to-house enquiries, media handling, and occasional court attendance. A valid driving licence and Safety training are required, with flexible travel across the Force.

• Undertake evidence collection to support a mixed team of Police Officers and staff and record witness accounts in the form of a statement.

• Scoping, seizing and viewing of media footage and exhibit handling.

• House to house enquiries and other field tasks as directed by an OIC or supervisor.
