Job summary

Essential Employment is seeking an Investigating Officer in Staines-upon-Thames for a temporary role. You will manage a varied caseload, interview suspects, gather and review evidence, take detailed witness statements and prepare case files.

You will work with solicitors, the Crown Prosecution Service and partner agencies, using frameworks like NDM/THRIVE/IDMM to make accountable decisions. Driving licence required; day/evening shifts incl. weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience handling investigations from enquiry to court.
• Ability to interview suspects and gather reliable evidence.
• Proven skill in preparing thorough case files and witness statements.
