Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Stores Operative to join our Fareham site as part of Saab Seaeye operations. You will handle goods inwards, stock control and order picking to support production and customer fulfilment.

The role requires warehouse or stores experience, the ability to work at height, and familiarity with ERP systems. Forklift experience is desirable. You should be enthusiastic, hardworking and keen to learn quickly, with a proactive approach to safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and materials in line with the MRP schedule.
• Process all goods receipt documentation and scanning.
• Store stock with correct locations and rotation.
• Label and pack stock to prevent contamination/misplacement.
• Pick work orders and sales orders from picking lists.
• Adhere to manual handling guidelines and use equipment as needed.
• Maintain the yard: safety, cleanliness, and stock control.
• Support waste processing and respond to requests with urgency.
• Ensure accurate daily KPI reporting and up-to-date locations.
• Undertake other duties as required by supervisor.
