Job summary

Marks & Spencer is opening a brand-new Lichfield Distribution Centre and is recruiting Inventory Team Managers to help build and lead our team from day one. This is a full-time, 12-hour shift role on a two-week rotating schedule at a fast-paced logistics operation.

You will oversee inventory accuracy, work with multiple warehouse systems, and drive performance reviews and succession planning. A proactive leader with strong data skills will fit this role in our evolving supply chain.

Qualifications

• Understanding of warehouse planning and inventory processes.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams with clear direction.
• Ability to analyse data using Excel, Minitab and Power BI.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.
• Strong cross-functional relationship building in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Warehouse Management and Control Systems to ensure inventory accuracy and availability.
• Investigate inventory issues across multiple systems.
• Manage and maintain locked and available inventory reflecting accurate stock.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve errors on site and build capability.
• Deliver performance reviews and succession planning within the department.
