Job summary

Marks & Spencer in Lichfield is recruiting permanent, full-time Planners to join our brand-new distribution centre. You will translate network and customer requirements into accurate volume, capacity and workforce plans, helping Operations deliver inbound, fulfilment and despatch efficiently.

You’ll provide forecasts and planning insights, engage stakeholders across the site and network, and support stock health so the operation is ready for changing demand in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/logistics planning helps deliver operational value.
• Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Translate network and customer requirements into volume, capacity and workforce plans.
• Collaborate with site and network stakeholders to agree future volume strategies.
• Maintain the 52-week rolling workforce plan with skills/training considerations.
• Produce inbound and demand forecasts to support cost-effective deployment.
• Support stock health by identifying obsolete or excess stock.
