Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking an Inventory Technician at our Castle Donington Distribution Centre to maintain accurate inventory levels and support online and store replenishment. You will work a Monday–Friday 8:00–16:30 schedule on a 12‑hour shift pattern that includes weekends and bank holidays, contributing to a fast-paced, data-driven warehouse environment.

You will use WMS tools, update records, generate reports and collaborate with Warehouse Operations to ensure customer satisfaction through

Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and inventory processes.
• Proficient with Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong organisational and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication with stakeholders across departments.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle shifting workload.

Responsibilities

• Track and update inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Record inventory data in WMS and related systems, maintaining accuracy.
• Generate reports and carry out periodic audits to identify discrepancies.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Support warehouse operations to fulfil online and store replenishment.
