Job summary

Stateside Foods Ltd is seeking an Engineering Stores Administrator for a full-time, permanent role based in the UK. You will manage day-to-day stores operations, stock levels, and ordering for the Engineering department.

Key duties include maintaining stock in SAP and Pirana, raising and recording orders, liaising with Engineering Managers, conducting stock takes, and producing budget reports. FLT licence and SAP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG environment and engineering administration best practice.
• Essential FLT licence and knowledge of SAP.
• Strong communication and computer literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock levels in stores and ensure accurate records in SAP & Pirana.
• Raise orders for engineering stock/spares and obtain supplier quotations.
• Record all stock transactions and ensure parts are stored correctly.
• Liaise with Engineering Managers for stock approvals and budget reporting.
• Carry out stock takes and cover stores during leave or sickness.
• Produce budget reports for the Engineering Managers and maintain store cleanliness.

Job description

We have a full time, permanent opportunity for an Engineering Stores Administrator working Monday to Friday 07.00 to 15.30.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the control of the day-to-day operations of the stores, stock holding and ordering stock in for the Engineering department.

The role responsibilities but not limited to:

• Maintaining Stock levels in stores, SAP & Pirana.
• Raising Orders for Engineering stock/spares on SAP.
• Issuing/booking out of stock/spares to engineers SAP & Pirana.
• Obtaining quotations from suppliers.
• Obtaining Approval from Engineering Managers on Stock Orders.
• Collection of deliveries and storing parts away in stores.
• Creating New T Numbers in Pirana & SAP.
• Issuing of stores held tools.
• Recording all stock transactions on SAP & Pirana.
• Organizing collections of parts/repairs of engineering stock/machinery.
• Carrying out stock takes.
• Stores Improvements.
• Process & Raise Emergency Orders.
• Process & Raise Factory Consumable Orders.
• Covering All Stores for Annual Leave & Sickness.
• Producing budget reports for the Engineering Mangers.
• Providing first line communication between stores and Engineering.
• Maintaining Stores ensuring all stock is in the correct place.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the engineering stores.
• Recording Delivery weights UK & Foreign
• All other General Stores duties, emails, phone calls, chasing orders, filing, scanning, unloading vehicles via FLT etc.
• Assist Engineering Control Manager where required.
• Any other reasonable requests
• Support and train colleagues where necessary
• Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures
• Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures.

The successful candidate should have experience of working within a FMCG environment with exceptional knowledge of engineering administration best practice.

It is essential that the successful candidate does have an FLT license and knowledge using SAP.

The suitable candidate will have effective communication skills, both written and verbal and excellent computer literacy skills.
