Talent-UK is recruiting a Stores Person in Doncaster for a busy vehicle manufacturing site. You will manage stock, receive goods, and prepare kits for production over a 4-day week.

The role is temp to perm after a 12 week agency period. The successful candidate will have stores or warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with purchasing and production teams.

Good stock control and accuracy are essential to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous stores/warehouse or goods-in experience required.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify, locate and pick parts accurately.
• Experience with stock control systems or computerised inventory.
• Reliable and proactive with good communication.

Responsabilités

• Receive deliveries and check against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Record goods in the stock system and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Allocate stock locations to ensure quick retrieval.
• Pick parts to prepare kits for vehicle production.
• Ensure materials are available to production and report shortages.
• Maintain tidy stores area and organise stock checks.
• Liaise with purchasing and production on stock availability.
• Follow safety procedures for handling and storage.
