Job summary

Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Inventory Management professional to manage replenishment, storage and distribution of goods across hospital sites. You will work with clinical teams to optimise stock levels and support cost-saving improvements, while ensuring timely deliveries and safe handling.

The role requires ability to work independently and as part of a team, with daily stock management tasks and flexible hours in a busy hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide an Inventory Management replenishment service using the NHS Supply Chain system and the Trust’s P2P system.
• Order, distribute and store goods within the hospitals and stand in for the Inventory Team Leader.
• Work with team members to ensure services are provided across sites and support improvements in efficiency and cost savings.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with yearly stock takes.
