Newcastle Hospitals is seeking an Inventory Officer to provide efficient stock replenishment and distribution across the Royal Victoria Infirmary and Freeman Hospital. The role involves using NHS Supply Chain and P2P systems, maintaining safe handling, and working with clinical teams to improve stock practices.

You will develop stocking levels with Team Leaders and participate in annual stock takes, ensuring timely deliveries and cost savings.

Competenze

• Experience with inventory management and stock control.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Familiar with NHS Supply Chain and P2P systems.

Mansioni

• Provide an Inventory Management replenishment service using NHS systems.
• Order, distribute and store goods within the hospitals.
• Stand in for Inventory Team Leader in absence and support cross-site services.
• Develop max/min stock levels with Team Leaders and Inventory Managers.
• Participate in yearly stock takes and assist finance with stock details.
• Return incorrect or damaged goods to suppliers for credit.
