Job summary

W Talent is supporting a rapidly growing organisation in the home services and installation sector. The Stock Controller will manage inbound/outbound stock, maintain accurate records and support warehouse operations to ensure high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

You will work closely with the Stock Control Manager, handle stock checks, system updates in NetSuite, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within stock control, inventory management.
• Experience using warehouse management or inventory systems (NetSuite).
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive approach with good problem-solving skills.
• Experience handling technical or trade-related products.
• Forklift licence or experience operating material handling equipment would be desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound deliveries and verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Complete stock checks to ensure products are received accurately and meet quality standards.
• Replenish stock and maintain an organised and efficient warehouse layout.
• Carry out regular and ad hoc stock counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Update inventory systems with accurate stock information and support stock adjustments.
• Monitor outstanding purchase orders and assist with resolving discrepancies.
• Support quality checks on outbound orders and report any issues.
• Assist with supplier returns and stock handling processes.
• Work closely with Procurement and Operations teams to support stock planning and accuracy.
• Identify recurring stock issues and elevate the Stock Control Manager.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
