Oliver Rae Ltd in Shrewsbury is seeking a proactive Stock & Materials Controller to own stock accuracy, manage inventory levels and coordinate purchasing activity across warehouse, production and logistics teams.

You will monitor stock using SAP, raise purchase orders, build supplier relationships and conduct regular stock checks to keep operations running smoothly. This permanent role offers stability, training opportunities and a collaborative environment in a growing business.

Qualificações

• Experience in stock control or inventory management.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Ability to identify and resolve stock discrepancies quickly.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of stock accuracy and inventory control using SAP.
• Monitor stock levels and raise purchase orders to maintain availability.
• Build relationships with suppliers and manage deliveries and lead times.
• Coordinate goods in, stock movements, picking, issuing and dispatch.
• Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement solutions to improve accuracy.
• Produce stock reports and maintain purchasing/inventory records.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, purchasing and logistics teams.
