Job summary

Reed in Alton is seeking a Stores & Logistics Operative to manage goods in/out, stock control, and warehouse duties. The role covers receiving deliveries, organizing stock, dispatching orders and maintaining accurate records.

You will work with stock control systems, ensure safety, and support continuous improvement in logistics processes. A forklift licence and ERP experience are desirable; a competitive salary of £30,000-£32,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores/warehouse/logistics or inventory role.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer literacy and stock control systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Goods In: receive, inspect and record deliveries; unload and store stock; report discrepancies.
• Stores Management: organise stock locations; conduct stock checks; update inventory records; issue stock as needed.
• Goods Out: pick/pack/prepare orders; verify against docs; maintain dispatch records; arrange shipments; load vehicles safely.
• General Duties: operate warehouse equipment; follow safety and quality procedures; support continuous improvement in stores and logistics.
