Job summary

Martin Brower UK & Ireland is seeking an Inventory Administrator in Darlington to provide vital administrative support across stock control, goods-in operations, and reporting, ensuring accurate records and smooth warehouse activity. The role is full-time, on-site with a fixed 4 on/4 off shift pattern.

You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain stock accuracy, support service delivery, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration or logistics support.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Effective communication with teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for goods-in, stock control, and warehouse operations, ensuring information is accurately recorded within warehouse management systems.
• Coordinate supplier deliveries and appointments while maintaining clear communication with suppliers, security teams, and operational colleagues.
• Monitor warehouse activity, stock levels, and inventory accuracy, helping to investigate discrepancies and support continuous improvement.
• Assist with cycle counts, stock reporting, promotional activity, and new product introductions to ensure inventory integrity.
• Produce operational and KPI reports that support decision-making and service performance across the distribution centre.
• Work collaboratively with Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Transport teams to resolve issues and maintain service standards.
• Support effective communication across shifts through accurate handovers and participation in team briefings.
