Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking a Stock Administrator for a Burton-on-Trent site to maintain accurate stock records, coordinate inventory administration and support the day-to-day running of the operation within a busy manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Plant Controller, you will carry out monthly stock takes, update stock systems, raise PO requests, process receipts and prepare daily loading lists for deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stock administrator, inventory administration, manufacturing administration or a similar role.
• Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident working with figures, records and computer systems.
• Organised, methodical and able to manage a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly physical stocktakes, reconcile stock levels against system records and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate stock records, tracking materials through production from work in progress to finished goods.
• Prepare daily loading lists for customer deliveries and dispatch.
• Monitor and record raw material purchase prices.
• Raise purchase order requests and maintain supplier catalogue pricing.
• Process goods receipts and update inventory records.
