Job summary

Yusen Logistics (UK) Ltd is recruiting two Inventory Controllers for the PM shift at Northampton. You will maintain stock records, carry out counts and resolve discrepancies while supporting a busy warehouse operation.

The role requires attention to detail and solid knowledge of warehouse systems to ensure stock integrity. You will handle stock files, pallet checks and formal stocktakes, while responding to queries and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Prior inventory or stock control experience.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Experience implementing improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of inventory/warehouse operations.
• Awareness of KAIZEN principles.
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
• Proficient PC literacy (Excel; Word/Access/Outlook).
• Customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records and support efficient warehouse operations.
• Carry out regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain stock files, conduct pallet checks and support stocktakes.
• Respond to customer queries and assist with stock relocations.
• Complete weekly and monthly inventory reports; identify improvements.
