Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Operative for a PM shift in Northampton. The role is full-time and permanent, with Monday to Friday 2:00pm–10:00pm and some weekend work. The successful candidate will operate MHE, load/unload trailers, and support safety and efficiency in a busy warehouse.

Applicants should have warehouse experience and an FLT licence. A good command of English, literacy, numeracy, and teamwork are essential. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• An FLT, counterbalance, reach truck, or pallet stacker licence (A2).
• Good levels of literacy and numeracy.
• Awareness of manual handling techniques.
• Teamworking skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Good general education with English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE to support day-to-day warehouse activities.
• Safely load and unload trailers with care to minimise damage.
• Complete paperwork and use automation systems.
• Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Carry out equipment checks and risk assessments.
• Suggest process improvements to drive efficiency.
• Communicate concerns to team leader or manager.
