Job summary

AG Barr is seeking an Inventory Controller at Milton Keynes on a permanent, on-site basis (8am-4pm). You will support the site to ensure raw materials are available for production and manage materials through the MRP system (JDE).

You’ll monitor delivery schedules, work with procurement to mitigate shortages, and drive continuous improvement in stock accuracy, rotation and stock takes while maintaining compliance with financial standards.

Qualifications

• Good communications skills to all levels.
• Great attention to detail with a methodical and logical approach.
• IT literate including Word and Excel with knowledge of MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure raw materials are available for the site to enable continuous production operation without disruption.
• Provide and monitor delivery schedules for goods-in, chasing progress as necessary.
• Check and administer all delivery documentation onto the MRP system (JDE).
• Review material shortage risks against the production schedule and work with suppliers and procurement to mitigate.
• Identify slow moving stock approaching BBEs and request additional production runs to avoid write-offs.
• Participate in monthly Raw Material Review meetings with Procurement to monitor shelf life and usage.
