Bristol Industrial is seeking an analytical Inventory Controller in Bridgwater to own inventory accuracy across inbound materials, finished goods and warehouse stock. You’ll align physical stock with SAP S/4HANA and EWM, and drive standard operating procedures site-wide, ensuring traceability and data integrity.
Responsibilities include daily cycle counts, periodical audits, and root-cause analysis of variances.
We are looking for an analytical Inventory Controller to join a global independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites worldwide including 6 sites in the UK based in Bridgwater (TA6).
As Inventory Controller, you'll own inventory accuracy across inbound materials, finished goods and warehouse stock, keeping physical inventory and system records aligned across SAP S/4HANA and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
No two days are the same – you'll be running daily cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies between SAP and EWM, and getting to the bottom of variances, shortages and overages – documenting root causes and putting corrective actions in place. You'll also manage inbound goods receipt and outbound finished goods processes, keeping accuracy and traceability front of mind.
Ideally, you will be someone who enjoys getting to the root of a problem and thrives on data accuracy. You'll work cross-functionally with manufacturing, purchasing and logistics colleagues, help shape and maintain inventory SOPs, and support the site through the post-go-live stabilisation of a major SAP/EWM implementation.
