Job summary

Sony Europe is seeking an Inventory Controller to join a recently formed UK team responsible for inventory control. The role involves auditing sub-inventories and jobs, completing production tasks, and handling non-conforming goods while maintaining data reports and adhering to 5S and company values.

The successful candidate will develop technical product knowledge, input and report data, and work within a collaborative, high-accuracy environment across Europe.

Qualifications

• Computer literate (specifically Microsoft suite).

Responsibilities

• Transact boards within Oracle system from sub-inventories.
• Maintain and communicate accurate counts of WIP and non-conforming product on a daily basis.
• Control the movement of non-conforming product within the process.
• Produce weekly inventory audit reports through physical and system comparison and reconciliation.
• Highlight inventory risks within the operation.
• Ensure processes are adhered to during counts and transactions allowing for good inventory management.
• Ensure all mount and mainline jobs match, also ensuring traceability though the system.
• Escalate any process breaches and stock discrepancy to the Inventory Control Team Leader in a timely manner.
• Ensure seamless shift handover through attending daily shift handover meetings.
