Job summary

Sony Weybridge is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support revenue recognition, commercial investment and inventory reporting within the Europe Business Partnering team. You will contribute to month-end procedures and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting across key areas.

The role offers exposure to IFRS, SOX controls, and process automation using tools like Power BI and Alteryx, with opportunities to grow in technical accounting and cross-functional partnering within a pan-European

Qualifications

Finance or accounting experience in a large, complex org.
Strong analytical skills with data sets.
Power BI, Power Pivot or equivalent reporting tools.
Proactive, independent with a drive to improve processes.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to support projects across finance and non-finance teams.

Responsibilities

Support month-end close: journal entries, accruals, provisions and reconciliations.
Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and submissions.
Handle revenue, inventory, commercial investments and operating expenses accounting.
Analyze data, investigate variances and drivers of performance.
Ensure IFRS compliance, SOX controls and policy adherence.
Assist audits, statutory reporting and HQ consolidation requirements.
Provide guidance to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Drive process improvements and automation in reporting.
Coordinate with outsourced partners to ensure service quality.
