Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Inventory/Stock Controller in the United Kingdom to monitor and adjust stock bins for accuracy, and to process returned stock including credits, debits, and damages. You will also update weekly and monthly reports to keep customers informed and coordinate audits and cycle counts.

Key tasks include resolving damaged-stock issues, managing haulier claims, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies while collaborating with senior management and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience using SAP for stock control and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Able to liaise with senior management and stakeholders.
• Compliant with Health and Safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust systems bins to ensure accuracy.
• Process returned stock promptly, including customer credits/debits and damage inspections.
• Update weekly and monthly stock reports for visibility.
• Monitor and resolve damaged-stock issues.
• Handle haulier claims and coordinate audits and stock counts.
• Carry out stock checks and cycle counts, reporting shortages or variances.
