Job summary

AO.com, a leading UK appliances retailer, is seeking a Stock Controller (Days) to safeguard stock integrity and support smooth warehouse operations. You will monitor inbound docs, assign trailers to bays, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate stock reporting.

You’ll work in a structured, data-driven environment with a 4-on/4-off shift pattern, 6:00am–6:00pm, contributing to high inventory accuracy and reduced stock loss. This role emphasizes initiative and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Discrepancy identification with methodical, root-cause investigation.
• Comfortable with numerical data and warehouse systems.
• Clear cross-functional communication to resolve issues.
• Initiative to resolve stock-related challenges and anomalies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inbound docs align with system entries and assign trailers to bays.
• Manage inbound shipments via Goods In Dashboard from various suppliers and escalate discrepancies.
• Conduct stock investigations using the WMS (GEAC) to resolve discrepancies.
• Generate and manage inventory reports and 3rd party product processes per internal protocols.
