Job summary

Metalis Recruitment are seeking a Materials Controller in Leicester to maintain accurate stock records and support audit reporting. You will work alongside the Stock Controller, carrying out counts and ensuring records are complete and precise.

The role requires strong attention to detail, good numeracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team within a manufacturing environment. Day shifts salary is £13.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform regular stock counts and verify inventory levels.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to recording information.
• Good basic numeracy and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Previous experience in stock control, inventory, stores or warehouse is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out regular stock counts and checking inventory levels for accuracy.
• Working closely with the Stock Controller to maintain accurate stock records.
• Recording stock figures and ensuring all information is documented correctly.
• Identifying and reporting any stock discrepancies.
• Maintaining clear and accurate records to support internal audits.
• Following company procedures to ensure stock control processes are completed efficiently.
