Job summary

Huhtamaki UK Limited is seeking an Inventory Controller to own stock accuracy, reporting, and warehouse utilisation across the business. You will work closely with Warehouse Operations, Production, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure precise inventory management and data integrity.

The role focuses on maintaining stock balances, managing SNAP/BPCS transactions, conducting monthly reconciliations, and providing KPI-driven insights to optimise efficiency and reduce discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
• Experience with SNAP and BPCS systems.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock balances and minimise discrepancies.
• Own the SNAP/BPCS transactions and resolve errors.
• Manage stock write-offs and dispose of obsolete stock.
• Coordinate monthly stock reconciliations.
• Investigate discrepancies and provide timely resolutions.
• Produce inventory reports and KPI information.
• Monitor warehouse utilisation and inter-site movements.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Production and Finance to improve data integrity.
