Job summary

KNAPP U.K. Limited is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead KNAPP Group projects from inception to handover. You will ensure delivery on time, within budget and to the customer’s agreed specification, supporting the UK and occasionally international installations.

You will manage weekly and monthly progress, coordinate procurement, and liaise with design teams to meet all requirements. Some travel to work outside the UK may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering projects across a broad spectrum.
• Minimum HNC in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of MS Project, Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of intralogistical processes and solutions.
• Excellent dealing with business partners and in-house interfaces.
• Knowledge of IT tools used in the field.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery to time, budget and customer spec.
• Maintain project schedule and issue updates to stakeholders.
• Manage procurement to align lead times with programme.
• Produce and present progress reports and cost variations.
• Coordinate deliveries of materials to site and site resources.
• Develop and distribute test, commissioning plans and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure invoicing aligns with contract payment schedule.
• Support sales handover to customer services and post-installation handover.
