Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join the Interventional Radiology service. You will work with radiologists, nurses, radiographers and clinical specialists, supporting patients before, during and after procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication, a caring attitude and teamwork are essential. Prior healthcare experience is desirable, but the right values and willingness to learn are valued.

• Proven ability to work without supervision and manage workload.
• Capable of performing well in a busy environment and under pressure.

Mansioni

• Assist the Operator and other healthcare professionals with patient checks.
• Prepare patients for day-case admissions and observations.
• Undertake intravenous cannulation under supervision and policy.
• Answer patient or carer queries within scope and escalate when needed.
• Assist with moving and handling during patient pathways.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment per infection control policies.
• Support point-of-care testing under supervision of a registered nurse.
