Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is seeking an IR radiographer to join our growing team working across Manchester. Training will be provided; HCPC registration required.

Cross-site role across Wythenshawe and Oxford Road sites, including Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, with access to multiple theatres and hybrid rooms. You will deliver high-quality imaging, support a multi-disciplinary team, and participate in 24/7 on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
• HCPC registered
• NHS experience or training desirable
• Two years post-qualification experience desirable (via link-grading considered)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality imaging and patient care during complex Interventional Radiology procedures
• Position patients and equipment, acquire, manipulate and archive images
• Manage sterile consumables and advise on equipment alternatives as needed
• Respond rapidly to equipment requests and support radiology trainees and consultants
• Participate in research and audit projects for service improvement
• Take part in 24/7 on-call rota and flexible shifts
