Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Basingstoke North Hampshire Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology specialist to lead the interventional service and oversee a small team to ensure smooth clinical operation.

The post holder will provide specialist knowledge and advice regarding Interventional Radiography, manage workload, ensure compliance with IR(ME)R, IRR 17, and attend medical physics meetings as required, and contribute to clinical governance and modality reporting.

The post holder will provide specialist advice regarding Interventional Radiography, will be involved inquality management and governance, management of a small team and have clinical duties to ensureeffectiveoperationofthedepartment.

• Toberesponsibleforleadingthe InterventionalserviceatBasingstoke North Hampshire Hospital.
• To promote excellence in the Interventional service and to provide specialist knowledge andexpertadvice regarding InterventionalRadiography.
• Tooperationallymanagethe Interventionalserviceincludinglinemanagementofstaff.
• To undertakeawide rangeof Interventionalprocedures.
• Assessandprioritise theworkloadincludingdayto dayrunning,ordering anddispensing.
• Comply with Interventional physics requirements in relation to IR(ME)R, IRR 17 and attendmedicalphysicsmeetings as andwhen required.
• Toproducemodalityreports forClinicalGovernanceandORPG.
• Be responsible for the Local Rules, SOP's, record keeping, waste, Infection control and training recordsandcompliance.
