Job summary

Evolve Staffing Ltd is actively recruiting an experienced Band 6 Interventional Radiographer to join a dynamic NHS diagnostic imaging department at a major hospital in Bristol. This role focuses on vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterisation labs and fluoroscopy suites, with opportunities to mentor junior staff.

You will work alongside Consultant Radiologists to deliver high-quality imaging while maintaining IR safety standards and supporting ongoing

Qualifications

• Full HCPC Registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
• BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent recognized post‑graduate qualification.
• Demonstrable NHS experience operating within specialized Interventional Radiology environments.
• Proven expertise in radiation safety, fluoroscopy, and sterile interventional techniques.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and therapeutic guidance across interventional radiology suites and related labs.
• Perform complex vascular imaging, angiography, embolisation and image-guided interventions with consultants.
• Maintain radiation protection protocols in line with IR(ME)R 2017 and local safety guidelines.
• Provide clinical mentorship to junior radiographers, students and multidisciplinary teams.

This specialist position is ideal for a dedicated Diagnostic Radiographer seeking to utilize advanced clinical skills in vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures, cardiac catheterisation labs, and fluoroscopy suites.

Core Responsibilities & Clinical Duties:

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and therapeutic guidance across interventional radiology (IR) suites, cardiac catheter labs, and hybrid operating theatres.
• Perform complex vascular imaging, angiography, embolisation procedures, and image-guided diagnostic interventions alongside Consultant Radiologists.
• Maintain rigorous radiation protection protocols in full compliance with IR(ME)R 2017 regulations and local hospital safety guidelines.
• Provide clinical mentorship to junior radiographers, student radiographers, and multidisciplinary healthcare team members.

Essential Requirements:
