Job summary

Emplyfy in Reading, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced IT engineer for a hands-on, customer-facing role within an international technology organisation. You will resolve technical issues, support IT environments remotely and on customer premises, and help maintain reliable systems.

The successful candidate has at least 5 years in a similar IT engineering role, with experience in Cyber Essentials, GDPR, Microsoft 365, Intune and RMM tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a similar IT engineering role.
• Experience with Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and Intune.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers and act as a trusted contact for support matters.
• Visit customer sites to investigate and resolve issues, perform installations and maintenance.
• Manage incidents and requests through the Service Desk system.
• Provide customers with updates and ensure tickets progress within SLAs.
• Escalate complex or high-priority issues to Management when appropriate.
• Organise daily workloads and prioritise urgent tasks.
• Monitor environments to ensure reliability and business alignment.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT hardware and software.
• Keep ticket information accurate and document work.
• Respond to major incidents remotely and on customer locations.
