This hybrid role combines customer service and sales at our trade counter with hands-on warehouse and stock management.Key Responsibilities Include:* **Trade Counter & Sales:** Greet trade counter customers, provide knowledgeable advice, take sales orders, and process cash/card transactions securely.* **Customer Support & Relationship Building:** Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly. Build strong, long-term relationships to understand customer needs and identify cross-selling opportunities for the wider sales team.* **Administration & Compliance:** Raise credit notes, complete proforma invoices, handle manual log notes when needed, and perform end-of-day banking reconciliations.* **Stock & Inventory Control:** Assist with accurate stock counts and inventory audits to keep the yard and warehouse organized.* **Picking & Packing:** Prepare, pick, and pack products efficiently for order fulfillment.* **Yard Operations:** Safely handle and transport gas cylinders and general equipment around the site as needed.## Are you a MATCH?The ideal person for this role will have strong communication skills and an ability to work in a customer facing environment.
