Job summary

Birchley Consultancy Limited is seeking an Internal Technical Sales Executive to join the regional South East Office in the Gravesend / Northfleet / Dartford area. The role focuses on speaking with customers by phone and email, providing quotations and technical estimates, and following up to convert them into sales orders.

You will join an established internal sales team, receive full product training, and be supported by experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer calls and emails to drive orders.

• Attend meetings with clients as needed and communicate effectively with National Sales Manager.

One of the UK's market leading manufacturers of products sold into the facilities management, M & E, HVAC, Leisure, Health, Building Management and Construction industries are looking to appoint an Internal Technical Sales Executive based from the regional South East Office in the Gravesend / Northfleet / Dartford area.

THE ROLE:

Working for this renowned market leading organisation, you will join the internal sales team and play a vital role speaking with customers on the phone and via email; communicating quotation and technical estimates to follow up and confirm into sales orders. You will be provided with full technical product training and supported by your experienced internal sales team.

You will be tasked with account management and business development activities and although your job will be based in the office for 90% of the time, you will be encouraged to arrange meetings with customers to build relations working with the National Sales Manager.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

To be considered for this rare and potentially "career defining" internal sales opportunity, we are looking for candidates with some experience in an internal sales, sales coordination, account management, business development, technical sales or sales support capacity (or similar).

Living locally to Northfleet / Gravesend, Dartford, you will be a great team player who has a proactive and positive approach to sales, account management and business development. You will enjoy speaking with customers over the phone, building relationships and take pride in your ability to offer an excellent service.

You will be a sales driven personality who is motivated and driven by opening up sales opportunities with clients, maximising returns from each customer and using your initiative and commercial acumen to "make things happen" and create "something from nothing".

We are ideally looking for candidates who have worked for a manufacturer or within a technical related sector however all internal sales people will be seriously considered. You will be someone who takes on training and development well and enjoys getting to become technically astute with your product offerings.

Any experience dealing with Facilities Management, HVAC, building management, construction related, leisure, hospital / medical sites or related technical industry would be advantageous but not essential.
